Dr. Arunas T Banionis, DO

Dr Arunas Banionis was the worst doctor I have ever been to. He take a long time to even get you into his room and then is very abrupt in how he talks to you. His tone of voice is sarcastic and he doesn't listen to what you have to say. He knows it all and has that attitude and you better agree with him. As he told me that HE WAS NOT ONLY A MD DOCTOR BUT HE WAS ALSO A SCIENTIST. Well that certainly didn't help him any. He was not a concerned doctor and we didn't get along well at all. He is so arrogant and my short visit was terrible. After only a few short minutes he says to me that it doesn't look like we are going to get along and walks out of the office. Then has the audacity to send me a full bill. I strongly don't recommend this doctor to anyone. He is rude and arrogant. Not worth your time seeing him.

He is not interested in 2 way dialogue about your issues. He jumps to a quick conclusion then arrogantly cuts you off when you try to disagree. He told my 55 year old husband that colonoscopies were unnecessary unless you are having issues!

Consistently 40 to 60 minutes late for appointments and seemingly has little regard for what the patient has to say.

My three teenage sons really like Dr. Banionis and feel very comfortable with him.

Dr. Banionis has been my Primary Care Provider since 2011, and in my honest opinion, he is one of the best around. I could be biased because I have had some really horrible doctors. I can agree with the others that he is probably not the right doctor if you have a piece of glass in your eye or need a referral for an abortion, and can be in a hurry when he thinks you are done with him, but he always answers all my questions and has never been rude to me. When he does not have an answer, has told me "that is beyond my area of expertise," and actually called specialists for me to make things happen, when specialists were not doing their job. Dr. Banionis listens more compared to others and definitely acts more caring than other doctors I have seen.

the kindest Doc I ever had....and even though he or I didn't know I had a brain tumor he was understanding of all the pain and confusion I had.

I was amazed at the quality of care that I recieved, aspecially after reading the other comments. Dr. Banionis was friendly, caring, and thorough.

I went to this doctor for two reasons, number one I had glass in my eye, he simply said that he couldn't take a look and he would give me a number to an ophthalmologist. I advised him that my ex boyfriend was a welder and had gotten metal in his eye and urgent care offices have a dye and a special light that he could use to try and find it. He sighed like I was a bother to him and went and got the equipment, when he came back he looked for about 30 seconds and said he couldn't see anything & would give me the number to an ophthalmologist. I then had so say "wait, I had another reason why I am here" as he tried to walk out quickly. I told him that I had recently fallen and had been told that I had a severly herniated disk in my spine and was in constant pain and wanted to know some home remedies to keep the swelling down. He prescribed me with Tylenol 3's while he was walking out the door. Saying "sorry, this happened too long ago, I'm not sure what to tell you". (It had only happened 2… months before). The entire appointment took about 5 min, he was SOOO rude and had no bedside manner. Even harrasing me at times about my story about how glass got into my eye. (I ended up having a piece of glass that was stuck in my eye and a shard had sliced right through the front of the clear covering over my eye).

Dr. Banionis is really nice and he's been my doctor for years. He always does his best to find answers to my health problems, but doesn't always take enough time to listen to me. That is my only complaint.
