I broke my wrist the spring of 2016. I went to this doctor because he was recommended by the emergency room doctor. He was to assess my situation and give me options. Option one: massive cutting and using a chisel to 'disimpact' my wrist bones. Option 2: Do nothing and it will heal fine; noting that I might develop arthritis as I get older, or not. No tests. Didn't even get another view with an x-ray. He had his medical assistant put on the first cast, and didn't even check her work. The next day, my hand was numb and losing circulation, so he put another cast on that was amateur, at best. Three weeks later, I thought I had the flu. Never once did I think it was my wrist because I trusted this man. When my family doctor ran some bloodwork to see what was wrong he was floored. He couldn't take the cast off because he wasn't an orthopedic surgeon, do he called in a favor and got me in to see a different doctor. Dr. Jacob put my arm through some motions under a fluoroscope and found… the ligament that holds a wrist together was balled-up between my radius and ulna. She concluded that I needed surgery to save my life AND possibly my limb! Arthritis was going to be the least of my concerns. That was on a Friday. I left her office to go to the hospital where I was infused with a strong antibiotic. On that next Monday, I had an MRI and by Wednesday I was in surgery. When Dr. Jacob opened me up, my bone dissolved and she found evidence of gangrene, which resulted in her partially replacing the bone with a donor bone, as well as the ligament and a tendon. In the fall of 2017, Dr. Nana's office sent me a bill for my second visit - the day he put my second cast on. I called and told them I will NEVER pay that! He's lucky I wasn't suing him! His action then caused my credit score to drop! Run from this guy! I'm not even certain he's *really* licensed...
