Dr. Arvind Kishore Sharma, MD

Dr. Arvind Sharma practices Cardiology the first and third Thursday of each month at HCCH. He primarily sees patients in St. Joseph, but has been conducting clinics in Bethany since 2003. Dr. Sharma was raised in the Fiji Islands and attended medical school at the Fiji School of Medicine in Suva, Fifi, graduating in 1989. He completed his residency in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Hawaii in 2000. He has completed two Fellowships, the first a three-year program in Cardiology at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC, and the second a one-year training program in Interventional Cardiology at Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire. The majority of Dr. Sharmas patients are those who need follow-up care after a heart attack, heart surgery, or other cardiac event. He also does patient assessments to determine if a procedure is needed to treat cardiovascular disease. If it is deemed necessary for a patient to undergo further procedures, Dr. Sharma is able to …do so at his St. Joseph office. Dr. Sharma and his wife, Jotishna, are the parents of two girls. In his spare time, Dr. Sharma enjoys racquetball, traveling, and cooking. Dr. Sharma says he enjoys coming to Bethany because he is able to bring his services to the patient rather than the patient having to travel to see him.
