Dr. Arvinder Singh Bir, MD

The office of Dr. Arvinder and Seema Bir of Rancho Mirage just HUNG UP on a phone call wherein I requested a script for Paxlovid for a positive COVID test be called into my CVS. HUNG UP ON ME!! Claimed I hadn't been in their office since 2022 ... despite my reminding them of my annual check up in their office on February 17 of this year! Said it "wasn't in their system." Said I had to "see the doctor" before he'd prescribe the medicine even though their phone system says "if you are COVID +, you are not allowed to come into our office." To all people considering this doctor: DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!!!! A grievance has been been filed with my insurance and I truly hope they are taken off the network of doctors for United Health Care.

Avoid this Dr if you believe people deserve equality in treatment. I’m Asperger and Dr denied treatment for me-simply based on diagnosis. Cruel way to practice medicine.

Worst doctor I've ever seen. He spent maybe 10 minutes with me and then just walked out and told me "good luck with everything." He didn't ask if I had questions nor did he seem to care. He sped through my appointment and acted like he couldn't wait to leave the room. I needed medication and he didn't want to do anything about it and told me I was fine, so I got a new doctor and was put on medication immediately about a week later. Avoid this doctor. He's a waste of time.

I have been seeing Dr. Arvender for the better part of 10 years. We all know what has happened to medical care in the last decade so having a steady hand to make suggestion and be the cornerstone of any treatment I may need, well it has been a Godsend. Dr Arvinder tells me what I need to hear not what I want to hear. However he does it in such a manner as to not be the least bit condescending. It is refreshing to have a Dr. who spends the time needed, no matter how long it takes. Some times when I see him, I am in and out. Other times, he has spent 45 minutes with me. When he is not in, I have no problem seeing his wife who is his partner.Dr. Seema is also a great Dr. and does her job in a comprehensive manner. It is always a pleasure to see her. Lastly they obviously have put some time and training to their Admin. Staff. I know of several that have been with them since I became their patient. It is no wonder that they seem to be growing their practice at will. Even with all the… growth, if I want to make an appt. it is never more than a few days off. Just wanted to weigh in on this practice. I know from prior experience that people very rarely say anything unless something is wrong. So I am attempting to balance the scales!

Dr. Bir is a very caring physician with great "bed-side" manner. The whole staff there is very kind and helpful.

I am experiencing a chronic pain syndrome along with some new symptoms. In years past, no medications provided relief. I have had to learn to live with debilitating symptoms while continuing to work part time. I was at the end of my coping capacity with severe aching, burning, and throbbing in my face, behind my eye, neck, and entire body. It literally felt like my face and brain were going to explode and I felt I could no longer endure. At my first appointment, Dr. Bir conscientiously made every effort to help me with lab work, mri, ultrasound, Dr. referral to see a neurologist, and medication that has reduced pain. I am very grateful. NOTE: In error, I posted this review on Dr. Seema Bir's review site and also overlooked selecting an overall rating in turn reflecting only three stars. This posting is accurate. I apologize for the errors. Thank you.

He lacked charm though I didn't really need it to have a good visit. However, he does seem a little distant and eager to make sweeping opinions about colleagues. He definitely wanted to establish with me that he has all the answers. I have only seen him once. Maybe too early to judge.

Dr. Arvinder S. Bir has always been very friendly, caring and an excellent doctor. Has never rushed my appointment, asks questions and is NOT a one complaint doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.
