Best doctor I've ever had. It looks like most of the negative reviews came from the same person. He is the most compassionate doctor I've ever met. Completely changed my life.

He could not have been more knowledge and professional.

Is incredibly intelligent. Very caring and will go the extra mile.

Wish he still did neurology but his person that answers the phone states he only did psychiatry. She is very rude and even though I said ok. I would like to set up an appt, she refused stating I asked about neurology first. I saw him in the early 2000's when he was at UoL until he had to go in sebatical. (Hope she's fine now).. I do not understand these evaluations. He is one of the kindest men I have ever met. Thorough and very caring. He laughed about how honest I was. He didn't understand ones exam review so he did one himself to make sure. I was diagnosed with MS and a 100% occluded main right carrots artery from tip to base.. (Which was rare for some one my age and absolutely no plaques). You can not evaluate him due to his rude front office as if that was the case all five of seven Drs of mine would be a one star. Unfair to the Dr. Since seeing him I have actually looked for Drs from Pakistan that were trained where he was as like I said he had an unbelievable bedside… manner. At the time he tried to even help with medicinal cost by what his pharm reps brought in. Now in this year I had a spinal tap. It took eleven tries for them to get the needle in my spine even though nite they have lasers that show direction. It also took three people holding my body a certain way as my spine was wrapped in arthritis they said. I had ogb bands in the csf along with in the CT scans showed more lesions in my brain and spine. Putting me on copaxone 40 three times a week. His diagnosis was correct. His persona was awesome and I would give anything if he treated MS again or neurological patients and not just psychiatric even though they say with all of my diagnosis I should go talk to someone as not healthy to keep inside and handle all alone. Once again his front desk wouldn't make the appt. Very rude. Told me if you are not a people person, why do you work with people. But that's not on him. This post is long because it is explanatory as I honestly do not understand the negative reviews. I know that Wellsprings itself is a horrible place and should be shut down. The children are treated horribly when they are out there for help. But he is not Wellsprings. He is a great neurologist's!!

the combination of neurology and psychiatry is so important in the older population and Dr.'s with both of these expertise are not common. Dr. Ismail is very well trained and intuitive to patients with neurological problems such as Parkinsons and the psychiatric issues that go alongside.

This man is a piece of trash. He is rude and unhelpful. One of the worst doctors I have ever visited! He needs to have his license stripped because he is incompetent

Dr Ismail is one of the worst doctors I have even seen. He is incompetent and doesn't diagnose conditions properly. Furthermore, he is very rude. Please dont waste your time in seeing him!
