Dr. Asad Ullah, MD

Dr. Ullah was impatient and as a result I was in severe pain during my procedure. I ewas not provided any information about why I had such severe pain. I was rushed through the procedure and totally regret going to this Dr. who by the way, came highly recommended.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ullah's for two years now. I've had procedures and treatment for pancreatic and bile duct disfunction. I find him to be very professional, caring and compassionate. I've heard he doesn't talk much to his patients, but I honestly have never had that issue with him. He makes sure I understand, he answers all of my questions, and im lucky to have him as my Specialist.

I had my gallbladder removed in Geneva General Hospital on a Friday afternoon a few years ago. After the surgery the surgeon said there was a large stone in the common bile duct that would have to be removed by a gastroenterologist. On Saturday morning Dr. Le Gyder from Geneva tried but could not get it out. After 7 hours of no vital checks I was transferred to Strong Memorial for stone removal. When I arrived and was evaluated my temperature was 105 and I was going septic. I knew at that point I was close to death. The medical advisors called Dr. Ullah and his team to do emergency ercp, when that did not work he was able to insert a stint for a temporary drain for the bile duct. After 3 more ercp's at different times the stone was finally removed in pieces and the stint was taken out. Because of Dr. Ullah's knowledgeable, quick & excellent care I am alive today. I have been back for check ups since and things have healed fine. Cannot thank him enough for my continued life.

I was rushed to Strong from Geneva general for a blockage in my main bile duct. Dr Ullah placed a stint carefully and quickly in my duct to get the bile to flow, whick for whatever reason they were unable to do in Geneva. Because of his knowledge & professionalism, I am here today..30 minutes later I would have passed away. I have had 4 ERCP's done by him (scoping into my duct work) to get the large gall stones out. He has my complete trust....as I said, if it wasn't for him, I would not be here today...!!
