If you are in chronic pain I suggest you go elsewhere and not waste valuable time here. At the first visit Doctor Hussain talked very openly about his concerns of prescribing pain medicine since the arrest of a local colleague, Dr Evans. I should have taken this as a sign that his ego is clouding his medical judgement but I was desperate for relief. He prescribed an anti - inflammatory and something to help with sleep. I tried this and got very minimal relief, but something. Upon the second visit we saw the PA who said to stop the anti-inflammatory immediately (contraindicated with antibiotic) and prescribed hydrocodone for pain. I was super grateful. The next day at the pharmacy I was told the meds weren't ready because there was a mistake on the dosage. I was told it was an easy fix but to contact the doctor for a faster response. Monday morning I called the office and left a message with no response, then the next day and so on. This continued for an astonishing and… disappointing 10 days. 10 days of excruciating pain because I had run out of pain meds the hospital has discharged me with. On the 10th day I receive a call back saying that they couldn't give me hydrocodone "anymore" because there was a note on my chart they had overlooked. Maybe they were looking at the wrong chart I insisted. I pleaded on the phone for some sort of help, anything, it didn't need to be pain meds!! I was then told they would send my records anywhere I requested. To me this sounds like a dismissal of care. I continued to beg for help and was hung up on. I've been scrambling to find another pain doctor asap. Then approx one week after my last communication with them I get a call from a woman who works there. She apologizes for before and insists the doctor wants to talk, I reluctantly agree thinking maybe I'll finally get help, or at very least an apology from the doctor. Nope, he just called to suggest I need a psychiatrist. I feel so hopeless and defeated. No response for 10 days is unacceptable and neglectful. Not helping people in pain is just as devastating to society as over prescribing pain meds.

Dr. Hussain and Peyton are awesome people. I have been seeing Dr. Hussain for 10 yrs plus. I have told him I wish he was a primary care giver. Dr. Hussain is the first doctor that I really trust my health to.

Said the medicine. I took the CDC said he couldn't prescribe and that he wouldn't prescribbe anything with the anxiety meds I was taken ..

I have been a patient of Dr Hussain for over 5 years. I have degenerative disc disease of the lower back, arthritis, stenosis and fibromyalgia. I was told 9 years ago that I needed to have my discs fused. Dr Hussain has helped to manage my pain through nerve block injections and medications. He is a good listener and he has always treated me with kindness and respect. I feel as if he knows exactly how my pain affects me! I trust Dr Hussain with personal and private Information that I'm very hesitant in sharing with anyone. He's one of my favorite doctors and I highly recommend him to anybody who is suffering with chronic pain.

Dr. Hussain and his nurse practitioner , Deepti Khullar have been seeing me for several years. My pain has been very well controlled. Both have taken a high level of interest in my pain situation. They are professional , caring, and cautious in prescribing meds. They have given excellent advice. The office staff headed by Peyton is organized, friendly, and keeps things moving on schedule. I feel very comfortable with this team of professionals.

Worst appointment in 20 years of dealing with my situation. Doctor did not listen to me, prescribed me treatment that I told him I have had before and it did not work then. Prescribed me medication that was infective and useless to me, despite me telling him what I knew from 20 years experience works. Ended my appointment abruptly and left me with no treatment plan. Essentially I paid out the butt for a blood pressure check and to answer the question "How are you feeling?"

Caring, kind and generous with his time! Highly recommend this dr to anyone suffering from chronic pain!

I was sent to Dr Hussain for a variety of health issues. Very painful conditions....and I am young. Young people I believe get disscriminated against alot because of drug seekers and I guess we are "high" risk? But I have PAIN and its very complex. First visit over a year ago, he made me cry....he asked me why I was there? I just got out of the hosptial with pancreatitis and my GI and my rheumy sent me over there. For some reason I decided to stick with him. He has gotten better with me over time...I think he can trust me now. I use my meds like I am supposed too but I am afraid to ask for more I must say....he has said if I ask for more at one time, he may send me elsewhere.....but he seems like a very busy man. Im just glad I get something for pain.....but sometimes I still suffer. His nurse practioner is nice and so is the office staff! Very caring and they are always making sure things are good on their end.
