Dr. Asante Kofi Mendes, MD

Honestly, I don’t like seeing doctors….especially psychiatrists. However, my view changed drastically to a positive stance. Dr Mendes always listened to what I was saying, asked the right questions which led to a vast improvement in my life! I am forever grateful for finding him and there should be more Doctors just like him!

Dr. Mendes has helped me so much!! My Panic Disorder & Anxiety left me unable to drive, go out, or stay alone. All of that is in the past because of his patient, empathetic, and competent therapy.

Ive never met a professional like this before. Huge ego and very unprofessional. I honestly don't think he would have a practice if it was t for his opioid dependent clients. More concerned with billing out. Session with his clients than helping them. It shows when your triple booked and all you get is 10 minutes with him

He's insensitive and overly talkative. He can't see two feet past his own ego. Didn't even respond to my Psychologist when she tired to contact him about my diagnosis.

They called in the wrong prescription and then office never returned 3 phone messages. Disgustingly unethical behavior.

Compassionate, interested, kind, does not make a hasty diagnosis, and I am grateful for the time he takes to educate me in the intricate details/differences in drugs and classification for my family member whose health I am managing. Have had to wait for personal appointments, but he's on the road visiting patients a lot, and always available by phone.

Would definitely not recommend. His office manager Ruth is particularly rude!!

Dr. Mendes is very kind, caring and professional. He is an amazing doctor and also a compassionate person whom cares about his patients and the work that he does. Finding Dr. Mendes has changed my life and my outlook on my condition and my future. Don't hesitate to make an appointment with him, you will not regret it.

Dr. Mendes has a one of a kind practice. I felt like I was back in the old days when doctors interact with one patient at a time. The staff was helpful and friendly and the office modern, cozy and comfortable. Dr. Mendes spent well over an hour with me explaining my situation and what the options were. Have not experienced this type of medicine anywhere else.
