Incredibly fatphobic and won’t prescribe mental health medication for more that 3 months without a follow up appointment (with a $100 copay that will never be reimbursed even when your insurance does cover everything). I felt extorted just for having anxiety

I have been a patient for over two years. If I could give negative stars I would . Doctor does not care about patients, neither does thier nurse practitioner. After being on a anxiety med considered controlled substance, they refused to refill my prescription as they always have FOR TWO YEARS leading me into a major panic attack followed by a hospital visit . DO NOT GO HERE!

I've been afraid to post a comment since the incident, but I literally almost died from an infection that went septic because she ignored all complaints and wrote them off on my weight. She demanded a blood sugar test when I had just had one done and ignored my plea for a referral to a dermatologist to help with my skin. Three days later (with failed antibiotics I already told her didn't work) I was in an ER with a fever of 109 and dying while a team scrambled to stabilize me with my infant in the room. If anyone wants to combat this, I have all my medical records from the incident. Previous appointments she again ignored complaints from nerve damage and shoved weight loss pills at me and tried to bully me into gastric. I was 20 and had a bad epidural. I wish I had chosen another doctor from the beginning. The absolute worst experience I've ever had. WARNING TO ALL OVERWEIGHT PATIENTS: DO NOT GO TO HER. SHE WILL BULLY YOU AND IGNORE LEGITIMATE SYMPTOMS.

Dr. Kamat and her brilliant staff has always helped me when I had an appointment or not. Thank you.

My chief complaint with them is that I always play heck trying to get them to refill my prescriptions. I recently moved and on 5 different occasions I told them which pharmacy I was using and they still continue to send my scripts to my old pharmacy. I placed an order requesting a refill yesterday for a prescription (which is basically zantac) and found out today when I called the pharmacy that the doctor denied the refill. I mean really my PCP denies refills! The other thing is that I am diabetic and was in the office one day on a visit and told them that I needed more needles (as I use the flex pen) and the nurse and doctor both told me that would be ok to reuse the same needle 2 or 3 times. I mean really! Well now next step is to file one heckl of a complaint against them with the medical board. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!

Inexperienced unorganized staff. I feel same about this doctor , no confidence, no bedside manners, she was in & out in 5 minutes, does not make eye contact, I had to spoon feed her w the information & answers. I will not go to her ever or recommend this doctor to anyone.

Thank you doctor Kamat for asking me to provide feedback on vitals. Your practice is excellent. No improvements needed. Or, I would say, your staff, must learn some customer skills. But as long as you are my doctor I fine with any staff!

She's a bully. I made an appointment to refill a prescription and she insisted on tests that were not quite yet due and didn't believe me when I told her I'd planned on coming back for those in a week. I'd only seen her 4 times (counting my LAST visit to her) and I have no idea why she would think I wouldn't make an appointment for the tests after I told her I would. Treated me like a child. Unpleasant experiences.

Excellent Doctor. She diagnosed my problem in the first visit!
