Dr. Asha Hiten Patel, MD

Poor doctor.

Dr. Asha Patel is rude. She doesn’t listen and over talks you. There was miscommunication with her staff. She informed me that none of them know what they are doing. She said she is busy, tired and have other patients and suggested I find another doctor. I witnessed her being rude to a patient (African American black male) he told her she is rude and disrespectful. She rushes through exams and over talks patients.

I was looking for a new PCP and thought I had found one. I was wrong my first visit was a new patient appointment. It was rushed she said I was due for a physical once going over my record. The physical was every bit of 10 minutes if that. I sat in a chair for this physical not an exam table? She asked and addressed very few questions. I informed Dr. Patel I was experiencing hair loss. I let her know I was on thyroid replacements and she asked did I need a refill when I was clearly due to have my thyroid levels retested. I had to request for bloodwork. I hadn't had my thyroid checked in months. Why refill an old prescription without testing my levels first? after getting my blood work I contacted Dr. Patel's office to ask questions regarding my results and she over talked me. I could not get a question in and after getting off the phone I still didn't have answers. She talked fast and rushed. I was very displeased with my experience.

Dr. Patel is the worst doctor I have encountered in my life. She rushes to see more patients instead of providing good care to each patient. On my first visit, she never bothered to collect my family history. Scheduled an annual physical with her, the only questions she asked were what prescriptions you need and what illness you have. She never replied my message from mychart.

Never take time to listen very well ,never wash hands or wear gloves.

I have been seeing for a year, have never requested blood work or offered any medical treatment, basically ordered prescriptions someone else prescribed, got got upset if someone else ordered changes. Not a good doctor....should lose her licence.

Dr. Patel would take my vitals then ask what meds I wanted. I asked for assistance or instruction for weight loss and she said, "Stop eating so much, and get off the couch." I was incredibly insulted. I felt she did not listen or care about anything going on medically with me. She did not report any issues with blood work or tests run. Even if there was a problem. She had no diagnostic skills at all and I felt my health was at risk during my time seeing her. I finally saw a different doctor and was diagnosed with severe pulmonary issues that could have been life threatening. My health is now much better now that I'm seeing a qualified doctor.

She is the worst doctor I have ever seen. We did not discuss one thing I was there for. She wasted my time. She is very arrogant, absolutely no bed side manner and she gave me false information. She spent approx. 6 mins with me and did not bother take my vitals. She shuffled patients in and out like cattle. Time for this doctor to retire and make room for a more concerned and compassionate doctor to take over. Not to mention her office is a dump!

She got very rude with me and would not do anything to help. She wouldn't even lesion to what was wrong with me. She was very rude. I will never go back to that hospital. She started yelling at us when she walked in the room. Said she was exhausted with us even tho this was the first time I'd ever seen her. I'd rather die then go back there.
