Dr. Ashby Miner Jordan, MD

When I saw Dr. Jordan, he dismissed my lung symptoms as "just a virus". He ignored the chest x-rays which showed a collapsed lung and athelectasis He had multiple chest x-rays and a full lung scan ordered by prior pulmonologist who was dishonest. Then, when I went to a third pulmonologist for another opinion. who looked in detail at my lung scans and pulmonary function tests, said I had very minor COPD, and saw no pressing reason for going on albuterol. When I then sent a respectful letter to Dr. Ashby, asking him how it was possible for two competent pulmonologists are coming up with different conclusions, he did not even have the shred of professionalism to answer a patient, period. Compassionate doctor? Hardly.

So I was referred to him by my primary physician, but he has a 3 month back up to get in for an appointment. His office is also only open 6 hours a day, so that might also be why he has a 3 month back up. I'll go someplace else.

Wait time was minimal. Not a problem. Dr. Jordan is empathetic. A good listener, and he obviously knows his field. He gives the time it takes to have your questions answered.

Extremely caring and knowledgeable physician. Highly recommended.
