Dr. Ashima Thakur Bakhru, MD

Ashima is part of a clinic that is an absolute sham; they push people to do genetic testings that run thousands of dollars without explaining what they are doing, why they are doing it, and how much it will cost. Stay away.

Dr. B is an awesome doctor who does indeed listen, Sometimes the office will crowd and if she went through the patients quickly it would go against her nature of actually listening and checking out everything that may be wrong with you. On occasion she does talk very quickly as she seems to have lots of info for you. Never had problems with her staff but sometimes its a little hard making a phone appointment.

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. You will never be seen on time and will wait at least 30-45 minutes everytime. My first visit was 4.5 hours for a check up and a bladder infection. My second one was 3 hours for a sore throat. My third time (today) I was ten minutes late due to traffic and will now be seeing my doctor an hour after my scheduled appointment. No matter how good this doctor is, the incompetent staff and lack of promptness is not worth it.

I had a very good experience with Dr Bakhru she is very nice, attentive and detailed. She shows empathy and very professional. Happy to have found a new primary doctor.

The biggest problem that I had with Dr. Bakhru was that she didn't listen to me. Her attitude is that "I'm the doctor and I know everything".
