Dr. Ashish Singh, MD

Ashish Singh, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and refractive surgery. He has a particular interest in laser-assisted cataract surgery and refractive lens exchange with advanced technology intraocular lenses, LASIK, and EVO ICL. He has performed over 8,000 vision correction procedures.

A native Texan, Dr. Singh was raised in Houston where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cypress Ridge High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011, and his M.D. degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 2015, where he graduated number one in his class.

After completing his internship at the Houston Methodist Hospital, Dr. Singh completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center for the past 5 …years where he helps teach residents cataract surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Singh joined the Kleiman Evangelista Eye Centers team in 2019 with a great deal of excitement over continuing to serve the Dallas – Fort Worth area through excellent patient care. He currently serves as Associate Medical Director for the practice and Medical Director of the Walnut Hill Surgery Center. In his free time, Dr. Singh loves to travel, play tennis, and spend quality time with his family and their rescue dog!
