Dr. Ashita Gupta, MD

I was looking forward to going to this doctor. The aesthetics of the office are lovely but also very nouveau rich. She has signs that talk about positivity and good vibes , And perhaps I caught her on a bad day, but she, in no way, practices what she preaches. She is very matter of fact, which is fine by its self, but then she is condescending If whatever you may have previously known about your condition doesn’t ring true to her. Having hormonal issues is a very sensitive subject . No one asked to be dealt this hand, so to be so insensitive and to unload everything on a patient just to rush them out without clear explanation is , in my opinion , not the best practice. And god forbid if you’re a vegetarian who needs to lose weight, because she will almost bully you into incorporating meat into your diet. I would not call this a holistic approach. I would not recommend this doctor at all . Actually a bit of a traumatizing experience.

They are not going to see you unless you show them the money upfront. I had an insurance and the HSA, they still refused to see me. Very unprofessional and unconscionable.

Dr. Gupta is an amazing doctor! She is extremely comforting, knowledgeable, and thorough. I have been battling Hashimoto’s for 10 years and desperately need a doctor who incorporates supplements, herbs to tackle the nagging problem and who does the ultrasound herself. I was fortunate enough to find Dr. A. Gupta! She was very attentive to my concerns, recommended the supplements and even smoothie that reduce inflammation, and discussed the foods that should be avoided. On top of that, her office is a piece of artwork, as beautiful as she is! I had the best experience ever.

I took my mom to see Dr. Gupta after her endocrinologist abruptly left her practice. At first blush, I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience (there's this very nice aroma along with comfortable chairs/couches to sit on). If I were to compare it to anything, it was like the smell of a hotel lobby/room or a spa. Very very pleasant, and there was classical music blended in! Circling back to the experience with Dr. Gupta, i was markedly impressed with her professionalism and her courtesy. She apologized for having our appointment run over by 10 minutes because she was finishing up with another patient. We were able to clear through the preliminary work and even finished an ultrasound for my mom. On balance, it was a smooth operation, and very positive. Dr. Gupta has my full endorsement as a professional and as a doctor. I do extensive due diligence in looking for the right doctors for my mom, and so I'm particular about the right individual. Dr. Gupta checked off every box and… gave us both a sense of ease and comfort. She is an outstanding physician :)

Extremely disappointing..maybe the better the insurance, the better the care and bedside manner..She was poor at diagnosis and testing, didn't explain things or respond with important information and obviously didn't pay attention to things I had said. She didn't do the testing previously agreed to (no explanation) and most definitely didn't recommend anything lifestyle or diet wise..just wanted to push pills that weren't necessary. Strange person and awful experience as a patient. I have not received anything helpful and will not be giving her any more of my business, let alone a referral. The last thing I would expect from someone who studied with Dr. Weil is a drug pusher/obvious kickback benefiter, unless, of course, that is not only necessary but also the best approach.

Didn't seem very knowledgeable. Didn't trust her diagnosis.
