Dr. Ashkan Karimi, MD

My wife was told she would need to have amputation. She has had three prior surgeries but her wound wouldn no heal. Dr. Karimi did two interventions one from her groin and one from her foot and her wounds have not healed for 6 months and she is not longer in pain.

We passionate and meticulous doctor. I traveled for 2.5 hours to have my procedure done by Dr. Karimi. It was a huge success. I was told nothing could be done about my leg artery blockage but Dr. Karimi was able to open the blockage and my wound healed.

My fiancé recently had a heart procedure done by Karimi. He may be good at what he does but he has no bedside manners. If you’re looking for a doctor who will listen to your concerns don’t go to him. He rushed the after care my fiancé received after his procedure. I expressed my concerns about releasing my fiancé so soon after his procedure. He did not want to listen to my concerns, he did not care.

Dr. Karimi treated my son while he was at UVA hospital. He went out of his way to make sure we were always comfortable and understood what was going on. If we could have followed him to florida we would have!

Dr. Karimi is a very passionate and caring doctor. I would highly recommend him
