Summary
I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. I attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison, graduating with my BSN in 2010. After graduation, I moved to Wauwatosa, WI and worked as an RN on an inpatient oncology unit. This is where I discovered my passion for providing care to the GYN-ONC patient population. My husband and I moved to Castle Rock, CO in 2013. I enrolled in the Women's Health NP program at the University of Colorado - Anschutz Medical Campus in order to further my education, training, and ability to provide a more comprehensive and specialized level care for this patient population. I graduated in May of 2018 and moved back home to Wisconsin shortly thereafter.In my spare time, I stay busy with my husband and two young children. I enjoy anything and everything that is outside - hiking, biking, skiing, gardening, and relaxing on a boat in the lake. I enjoy cooking and reading during the winter when I cannot be outside.I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level …and developing long-lasting, trusting relationships with them. This type of relationship allows me serve my patients mentally, physically and emotionally. Wherever they are at on their healthcare journey, we can move forward together with a collaborative treatment plan that works for everyone involved.
