Pediatrics is such a special field. It lets me care for the same patients from their first newborn visit until they graduate from college. I love being a trusted part of a family's life during such a vulnerable time of rapid growth and development. Each child and family is so unique, and they deserve individualized treatment. I want my patients and their caregivers to have their questions and concerns not just heard but validated. We will work together to address those concerns and to achieve the best outcome possible for each child. \n With so much information available today, I take great responsibility for making sure my patients and their families get the most current, accurate information. It's important this information is presented in an understandable, compassionate manner so each family can make informed decisions. I also think it's important that our community's adolescent population sees me as a trusted adult who will always answer any questions they have. \n College …brought me from Tennessee to North Carolina. My husband, more schooling and now a career have helped me stay here. When I'm not at work, my husband and I enjoy being outside, walking and hiking with our goldendoodle. We also love to travel and are always up for new adventures. Most of our fall weekends are spent cheering on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, the Tennessee Vols and the Washington Commanders.
