Dr. Ashley Daniellle Locklear-Batton

I am a RN who practiced for 18 years in Intensive Care Units. I mention this because I feel that I am qualified to give an honest and professional review of Dr. Locklear- Batton. I give her 5 stars for accurate diagnosis, competency, professional manner, genuine interest in her patient, and willingness to spend time with her patients. She is my trusted primary care physician and I consider myself blessed to have found a truly competent and caring individual.

I have been seeing Dr.Batton for years. I really like her and she is a Great Doctor. She takes her time and listens to her patients. She is the only family Doctor for me!!

I have nothing good to say about her medical abilities. She's very sweet, but completely incompetent. Her staff is rude & extremely unproffessional! They are a direct reflection of her. If she wants to be considered as a qualified medical practitioner, then she needs to hire staff that treat patients with respect & courtesy! Not to blatently lie to a patient! Patients are their customers. Without satisfied patients, they won't have jobs. Somebody needs to tell them so! Long-story short, it took me battling her staff & her to find out she doesn't know the first thing about medicine, so she sends me on to my gynecologist. Finally, after I decided to see my gastrenterologist, I was diagnosed with gallstones & thickening of the gall bladder. Three weeks later my gall bladder was removed & my pain was gone.

I started going here soon after they opened, yes first two visits's was a cluster F***, yes the staff was less than nice or professional, yes i had issues reaching the correct phone number, the phones are controlled by the facility, not the Dr office so its outta their control as are most large medical groups today. However that being said, I stuck it out because I liked the Dr. she was a little new and green when I started going and had an odd bed-side, but I like the fact she listened and is a kind soul, she has awesome energy! My visit today was great, I called last night and left a message, with the answering service, never got a callback, so I called at 9 am and was able to come in at 1045am. Dr. ASHLEY LOCKLEAR-BATTON was on point, she has grown into her position and is professional, courteous, and compassionate, she has a great bedside now and she looks the part of a strong smart confident Dr. I am happy with Her as my Primary care DR and will remain under her care. the… front desk was and has always been nice, professional, and courteous. I will agree that the back of the house staff could use a hospitality customer/guest refresher course, but I have 0 interaction with them anyway. DR ASHLEY LOCKLEAR-BATTON is top notch 100% A++ in my book, I am happy to recommend her as a Dr.

I moved here from Virginia and many people recommended Dr. Batton to me. She was excellent. She took her time during my visit and answered all my questions and concerns. I am so happy I found such a good doctor here in SC.

I have only seen Dr. Batton twice. Once for a regular medicare well check and then after that, I had to call up with a medical problem and was seen promptly. I really couldn't be happier. Dr. Batton was very polite and professional in my opionion.

The staff has always been helpful and courteous when I called or needed help. Dr. Batton is a breath of fresh air and she has always been proactive in her care for my health.

I waited 3 weeks for an appointment. When I said something to the appt. clerk about the long wait, she was a bit rude. I finally get this appt., and med tech was not very friendly, and finally getting to see the doc to get referrals in for specialty care as my previous doc was "let go". Told them exactly what I needed, and she listened to my heart so she can "bill" insurance. I've had to make numerous calls to get the correct information on the referrals and I've been waiting for a call back on one of them because the diagnosis is incorrect. Fortunately, this is not life or death, but asap I will be looking for another PCM away from McLeod Health.

Once a patient it's becomes increasingly hard to get an appointment or seen in between the "follow-up" visits. It's all about the dollar.

Im very pleased with This Dr, She is attentive and listens to my concerns. She does not jump to prescribe just anything, she takes into account the whole picture. I am glad to have found her!
