​Cardiology had always fascinated Ashley Davis, which, coupled with a love of medicine, drew her toward the field.
“The human body is amazing. It's ever-changing and widely individualized, making every person so different," she said. “Cardiology treatments and medications intrigued me. I wanted to learn more in-depth about cardiovascular systems and diseases."
She received her Master of Science in nursing degree from Purdue University Global and her bachelor's degree in nursing from Western Governors University.
Davis sees and treats patients for hypertension, hyperlipidemia, congestive heart failure, heart failure management and other cardiac concerns.
She believes in individualized patient care when treating her patients.
“Each person has a unique situation and psychosocial, financial and spiritual elements that make their care different for a similar diagnosis," Davis said. “I want each of my patients to feel like a person, not just a number."
As a nurse …practitioner, she looks forward to being able to see her patients feel better.
“I work to help manage their symptoms so they can live their lives to their fullest potential to bring them happiness," she said.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, yoga and being outside in the sun. She is married and has four children and a dog.​
