How long have you worked in your field?
I have completed my year of fellowship as well as 3 years of residency.

Describe your clinical specialties.
I am a clinical and surgical podiatrist who specializes in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including trauma, sports medicine, forefoot and hind foot reconstruction and limb salvage.

What is your patient care philosophy?
I believe in a holistic approach; listening to the patient is the most important thing as well as discussing all the treatment options and determining which is best for the patient’s lifestyle.

What would you like people to know about you as a provider?
I am extremely passionate about my profession and patients. I want to treat every patient as I’d want my family to be treated.

What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
That every patient is different bringing good challenges and making things more exciting in my profession


How does your work improve lives?
Feet are our body’s …foundation, people don’t realize how important they are until they have a problem. What I love about this profession is how acutely and precisely we can treat patients’ foot pain.

What are some interesting facts about you?
I am Canadian, born and raised in Montreal. I love traveling and integrating myself into different cultures. I lived in Rome for 6 months during my gap year to teach English. Now, I have a large bucket list of places I would love to visit. I’ve skied since I was three years old and I enjoy playing and watching tennis.

With which community and volunteer organizations are you involved?
I am an active member of APMA and ACFAS I was involved with BCPMA (Broward County Podiatric Medicine Association) and would volunteer in the diabetic walk annually. I have previously volunteered at the Special Olympics and multiple homeless clinics in Miami.


What (positive) childhood memory do you have about visiting the doctor?
Since I was 14, I’ve always wanted to be a doctor. It was when I visited my podiatrist in Montreal for my flat feet that I realized this is what I’m meant to do. I loved the diversity in the clinic and how much we can treat for different foot and ankle pathologies.

What else would you like to share with our readers?
Aside for my passion for my profession, I do love having a well-balanced lifestyle with fitness, yoga, sports, travelling and cooking. I currently speak English, French, and elementary Italian but I hope that I can broaden my languages in the future.
