Dr. Ashley Launt O Hara, MD

This has been my primary care provider for nearly a year. I have seen her once. It took 6 months to get in for that (and that was before she was pregnant). I have now gone off two maintenance medications because she/the office has not responded to the pharmacy for renewals for more than three weeks. The staff here do not return calls. This is the worst medical "care" I have ever seen.

Dr. O'Hara is an intelligent, conscientious, caring doctor. In 50 years I have never experienced a doctor that listens so attentively, asks pertinent questions and so genuinely wants to address my health issues holistically. She truly is a gem and Salida is fortunate to have her!

I'm new to town and tried to see this doctor. I was told all new patients have to wait six weeks, regardless of urgency, and that she doesn't accept patients with pain management issues since "they take up too much time". I would not have believed a doctor could be so callous.

Her colleague may have won best Doc in 2013 but I'll bet it's Dr. O'Hara in 2014. She caught a disease missed by five previous Salida Docs on my very first visit, then worked with me to find the right surgeon to fix it. Can't recommend her highly enough!
