Ashley Parlier

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT) and also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I graduated with honors from Emory & Henry College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and contextual support in Biology and Chemistry. I attended graduate school at August State University, now known as Georgia Regent University, and graduated with a Master of Science with honors in Clinical Psychology/Counseling. I has been working in the mental health field since 2008 and have taken on many roles, which include Therapeutic Mentor, Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor, Residential Counselor, Crisis Counselor, Program Manager, Outpatient Counselor, and more. I have provided services to youth, young adults, families and adults in many different stages of life. I utilize evidence-based approaches within my therapy practices and focus on building rapport and therapeutic alliance between counselor and individuals. I …have been been approved by the board to provide Clinical Supervision to Residents in Counseling since 2017. In my free time, and to provide self-care, I enjoys spending time with my five kids and husband. Together, we enjoy traveling and seeking new adventures, even if it is just in their backyard. I enjoys hiking, living in the mountains, and being in awe of God’s many and beautiful creations.
