Dr. Ashley E. Ross, MD, PhD

I’m certain that I’m alive only because Ashley Ross operated on me 8 years ago.

Dr. Ross operated on my husband who had aggressive prostate cancer. He is a brilliant surgeon and equally compasionate man. We are so grateful he is our Dr, and are so lucky to have him here in Dallas. We would and do highly recommend him without any doubt at all.

Dr Ross is a one of a kind brilliant Dr. and surgeon. He operated on my husband who had an agressive prostate cancer. You don't often find this level of skill along with compasson. He takes the time to make sure you understand all issues. We are so grateful to have him as a Dr. and here in Dallas. We would and do highly recommend him.

He’s the former Director of Johns Hopkins Prostate Cancer Program at Johns Hopkins hospital and, additionally, Professor of Urology and Oncology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD… published 90 articles that I know of about prostate cancer and seems pretty caught up. He’s been here two years. Texas Oncology group here, who stole him away from his research and Johns Hopkins, is the largest oncology group in the country (680 docs), has a lot of clout and has challenged and changed many antiquated protocols for treatment and insurance. It runs one of the 15 or so proton treatment centers in the USA and is not bound by the red tape and provinciality of academic footprints.

Dr. Ross is a great doctor and an amazing man. I did not choose him, God put him on my team for this fight. He is the one that diagnosed, operated and is currently leading the team in removing this cancer from my body. He has a way of explaining exactly what is going on and exactly what is needed, in terms that anyone can understand. In my opinion he is more than an "Excellent" doctor.

My husband was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and after investigating both radiation and surgery options my husband chose Dr. Ross to perform his surgery. He has great experience having relocated from Johns Hopkins which combined with his compassion and care make for a great doctor. We are so grateful to have found him and recommend him without any reservations!

Dear Dr. Ross. I have no other way of contacting you. Just wanted to convey a message that I am a physician myself and I can afford to pay for my father however your office doesn't accept patients without health insurance. Please reconsider your policy so that people like me should not have to go out of country to get him treated. Thanks.
