Dr. Ashley Unwoo So, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Ashley for over 10 years and what I love about her is that she is very detailed with my health. I can call her and she or her staff will respond to me the same day. I am shocked at the reviews. I generally don't write reviews unless I am unsatisfied but in this case people need to know that she has been nothing but great to me.

BAD Doctor. Dr. So has charged me for every annual appt. I’ve scheduled with her. She nefariously CHANGES codes! I believed it’s called up coding/charging - where she charges for part annual part office visit. Tells insurance company your visit was a follow-up. You will pay her out of pocket for the in-office visit, and the insurance will also pay her for the part annual codes she files. This illegal practice has been stopped before at other clinics, but this doctor seems to be able to get away with it at this clinic. When confronted, she admitted to doing it in front of husband and said she would never do it again, but the following year she did it again! She lied and said I saw her for conditions I don’t have. I audio recorded my last annual visit just in case she tried it again. But even with the audio proof and complaint, clinic don’t seem to care. She is still there. No doubt she’s doing this to many MANY other patients too. The social media complaints are everywhere.

Dr. Ashley So has been my mom's GP for about 3 years. Since then, Dr. So has provided excellent care for my mom, managing her medication. She listens to our concerns and responds with thoughtfully. I trust Dr So will do everything possible to care for my mom and maintain her health.

Honestly, this lady should never practice medicine to begin with. Just with the attitude that she gives her patients as well as scaring them unnecessarily, she lacks the professionalism that is necessary in medicine. I am not surprised that she has such a low rating and how she manages to have patients. I hope she understands how patients think of her and she needs to fix her attitude.

I made a mistake by visiting this doctor, I took the appointment for my annual physicals, but she put different codes in billing, i never get my results, and prescription, but she charged for something which i didn't test, please don't go to this doctor. she don't even have knowledge, just money making

Dr So provided excellent feedback on follow-up visits regarding progress and steps to improve my overall health. She shows a genuine concern for her patients. Wait times and the office have improved significantly over the last several months and I am often admitted ahead of the scheduled time when I arrive at the office early.

I came in and she didn't test for strep or flu and given my symptoms I believe it should be a precautionary step. She was abrupt, didn't explain what was really going on. I'll send scripts. She spent a total of about 5 mins with me then left.

I have chosen Dr. So as my Primary Care Physician and would recommend her to anyone. She is thorough with an "Easy, relaxed, professional manner - not overbearing or intimidating". Additionally, her staff is the same.

I think Dr. So is a wonderful Primary Care Doctor. She is very knowledgeable, explains everything extremely well, and is very pleasant. I would recommend her to anyone!

She is thorough She comes in and gets down to business. She was pleasurable. I needed an appointment that day. The girls in the office fit me in. I was thankful for her staff. I will see her again.
