I just had a hysterectomy 13 days ago, and for the first time this morning I seen a river of blood flow out of me like you could never imagine. I went to the ER and Mrs. Bergeron was my doctor. She was so nice and caring. She talked me through the procedure inside the room. She helped to get me to calm down because I have panic attacks. She was very nurturing just like a mother is to a child. She saved the day! And now she's one of my favorites. If I can request a doctor in an emergency, it would be her. She's wonderful. And she knows a thing or two about what it is she is doing. And this was our second encounter. The first time I met her my dad was in the hospital about his balance being off still after his stroke. She walked right in and knew immediately what the problem was and sent my pops up to surgery. When I say she knows a thing or two I mean she knows her job, she knows her patients, and I love all of that about her. You will be in good care when she is around trust me.

HORRIBLE PHYSICIAN, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! (Zero Rating) Four days ago, I brought my mom to the Emergency Room at Ochsner Hospital on O’Neal in Baton Rouge LA. My mom had been complaining of hip and knee pain. She is a 75-yr old, who uses a walker and gets little to no exercise. My mom wanted x-rays to confirm nothing serious was going on. Ashlyn Bergeron didn’t even meet with us face to face before ordering labs. While the phlebotomist finished drawing blood, she preceded to start an IV on my mother. I questioned why is this being done. She could not answer us and just kept saying the dr ordered this. This made us quite confused. This became a tell tale of what was to come! After labs, an X-rays were done, a CT scan and then a urinalysis. Throughout these tests the dr came in once very briefly and barely communicated. I was informed by other medical staff m, that the tests results are all normal. During this ordeal (OVER SIX HOURS) my mother was begging for water or just ice… chips and the dr constantly refused. She never ordered anything for her pain or offered any assistance, just test after test and non direct contact with us. After the sixth hour, I’m informed that they are going to admit my mom. I asked why and could not get an answer. I stated that I needed to see the test results of all she ordered. Ashlyn said, “I don’t have anything to go over”. I said, “Well, we’re not staying.” She was difficult before, but ever so more now! She made us wait another hr for get my mom unhooked from the IV and never came back in the room, only assistants. Upon leaving I asked for paperwork, the assistant came back and said that the dr will it allow me to give you any paperwork. Ashlyn Bergeron should not be assigned to patients, especially those in the emergency room. She has no bedside manner, communication with patients and is downright cold hearted. I pray her loved ones are never treated this way! Advice - AVOID THIS PHYSICIAN!!!!

Nightmare. Avoid this er completely if she’s there. Shouldn’t be a doctor! Had to bring my loved one to a different hospital to give a diagnosis because she stormed out of the room like a child and refused to treat after we disagreed with her. She needs to mature. Disgusting behavior

Extremely rude and unprofessional. This woman should not be treating patients much less as a physician

Ashlyn will only receive one star from me because it’s required! She really deserves none. Horrible ER doctor. No kind of bedside manner. Very rude. Find a new profession because being a doctor is not for you!

She tried to prescribe to counter acting medications to my mother. My mother informed this doctor of her experience with the medication so Dr. Bergeron refused any to give her any medication and discharged her.

I recently took my 85 year old mother to the ER, after she experienced a fall at her home. Dr. Bergeron treated my mom with respect and dignity. As well as, treating her with comprehensive testing. Dr. Bergeron spent a great deal of time, talking to my mom about all of the test results. I was very touched by Dr. Bergeron's compassion. She talked WITH my mom, not AT her.

Rude. Didn't even introduce herself. Was a waste of my time and money. Terrible doctor
