When my CT Dye Scan results came back that I had 90% blockage in my LAD (widow maker), My Cardiologist recommended I see a minimal invasive bypass surgeon Dr. Ashok N. Babu. Dr. Babu met me right away and recommended that I have Robotically-assisted Minimally Invasive Bypass Surgery for my LAD which we did research on and agreed to have it done. He was able to get me scheduled to have for surgery a few days later which only took him 2 hours to do. He is a Brilliant surgeon who is very proficient at using the robotic arms which require no cutting the sternum open. Instead the procedure uses the tiny robotic arms thru the ribs just under the left nipple. I am so happy we decided to go with the Robotically-assisted Minimally Invasive Bypass Surgery. I only have 3 tiny scars and the recovery way faster then the traditional heart bypass surgery. I was only in the hospital for only 3 days and was on the Treadmill on day 4 walking 2 1/2 miles and now it has been 2 1/2 months and I am… back to working out with weights 3-4 times a week and jogging 3 miles a day for at least 5 days a week. I Can't thank Dr. Babu enough for saving my life and adding 20-30 years back to my life!! ????????¯???** Very Highly Recommended**????????¯???

Extraordinary care and vested interest in my recovery after surgery, visited every day while in SICU and periodically during my whole stay. Dr. Babu has a calm demeanor and is highly knowledgeable in his field, but will listen to residents and staff with respect and is open to seeking outside opinions on matters that were unusual to seek the best course of care.
