Dr. Ashok Laxman Gowda, MD

I do not recommend this doctor at all. He rushed me through appointments and misdiagnosed me as having a more minor injury than I actually had. He said I didn't have a broken bone just by looking at my knee...turns out, I do! He never referred me for X-Ray. He told me going to physical therapy for a sprain instead of being non weight-bearing for an actual broken bone--once MRI came out, he said to be non-weight bearing. He didn't seem to care or be invested in my injuries and treatment. Now, I have a longer recovery and will be going elsewhere. I thought he would be better but I'm very disappointed in how I was treated by him.

I received treatment for a workman's compensation case that resulted in getting surgery done. Dr. Gowda and his team were always ready with my case whether it was dealing with the insurance or my job they were on pace with what ever I needed. The care and attention continued after my surgery as well, Dr Gowda personally guided me through my physical therapy and made sure I got the best therapist available.

The office staff was excellent, very prompt and professional. Dr. Gowda took time to listen to my concerns and to do an exam. He explained my problem in non-medical terms and let me make the decision. They have some braces in the office and a physical therapist which makes it convenient. Good doctor, pleasant experience.

Had a great experience with Dr. Gowda. My pet peeve is long waiting times and thankfully that was not an issue. Also didn't feel like he was rushing me out the door, which is another complaint I usually have. Very thorough and patient.
