Dr. Ashok Kumar Khanna, MD

We are always in and out of there in a jiff. The waiting area is clean and has a great area for younger children to stay entertained. We took our son here after seeing 5 random doctors since his birth at cedar knoll. He never had a steady doctor who knew him and his health concerns. After 3 months of him coughing non-stop, Dr. Khanna was able to figure out was wrong and get him the right medications first visit. This was when we knew we were no longer going to Cedar Knoll and making the leap to Khanna. His english is not the best and I do have trouble understanding him. So he rights down everything he is trying to tell me and gives me his notes. This I love! Its a actual plan on how to treat my son and I can understand this 100 times better than sitting in a office being told and then leaving with only my memory. I would strongly reccomend Dr. Khanna!

Dr.khanna makes accurate diagnosis and is very intelligent. However, I like to ask a lot of questions and really understand what is going on and to have diagnosis and reason for selected treatments explained to me thoroughly. Dr.khanna is more of a " just trust me I'm the doctor" type person. While that is true and even when things are explained I may not know enough to know if the explanation of the diagnosis makes it any more correct or not I still like to hear the doctors course of reasoning, it just makes me feel more at peace and let's me know they have given the problem plenty of thought. So it really depends on your personality. Doctor khanna is caring and sweet and very intelligent and experienced but he's just not "my kind of doctor". He also has very long wait times. I'm usually in a room in about a half hour then wait another 30-60 mins on him. My longest wait has been 2 hours. With older children this wouldn't be such an issue but with a baby it's very difficult to keep… them content with just sitting on your lap for that long as well as trying to rock them to sleep in a waiting chair. Love this doctor would recommend him but with the warning that he's not very thorough in explanations or answering questions and be prepared to wait.

We have seen Doctors from all over the united states (lots of Doctors) and Dr.Khanna is the best and most caring Dr.we've neet in fifteen years.
