Dr. Ashok Kumar, MD

I imagine most of Kumar’s patients are on Medicare. I was employed as a teacher and thus had the best insurance in the state, so, boy, did he see me coming. All kinds of procedures just because “he could”. The scare he gave me, with 3 ekgs in one office visit was an absolute crime. Total confusion, telling me I had to go in the hospital and “make sure you ask for me”, he said. Couldn’t find the previous ekg, but told me there were “changes”. I’m really surprised he’s still in practice. Thank God my pc sent me to someone else.

Extremely courteous and very knowledgeable

I have been seeing Dr. Kumar for quite a few years, and he has always been a caring, very knowledgeable, and friendly physician.I trust him with my heart!

He's my wife cardio doc. If I had one gripe, it that he's reluctant to make predictions. Good or bad. He's got a tough job. Life and death decisions. The way the man puts in time and effort, I'm surprised he doesn't have an ulcer.
