Dr. Ashraf Ahmed Abou-Zamzam, MD

Ashraf Abou-Zamzam is a California native who completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley prior to attending Medical School at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Subsequently, Dr. Abou-Zamzam completed residency training in general pediatrics at CHLA, and continued subspecialty training in Critical Care Medicine at the same institution. Since completing training in 2002, Dr. Abou-Zamzam has focused his attention on clinical practice, attending in the PICU's at both Huntington Hospital and CHLA, with a specific interest in the development of telemedicine applications for pediatric critical care medicine with the VPICU at CHLA. Currently, Dr. Abou-Zamzam is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, as well as Medical Director of Telemedicine with the VPICU at CHLA.
