Dr Ashraf S. Ekdawy, MD

Dr. Ekdawy seems to be a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon who cuts with reckless disregard for patient concerns, needs, wants, or desires. He misrepresented a "potential" quarter sized area of numbness on the thigh as a worst-cased scenario, when he knew the actual outcome of intentionally cutting groin nerves to prevent pain in the 10% who might experience pain, is 100% permanent numbness from the navel down.

My mammogram showed problems with my left breast. Dr Ekdawy found a lump in my right breast during a physical exam. He then sent me for an ultra sound and I eventually had biopsy's on both breast. My right breast path report showed DCIS in a low grade. So fortunate I am to have DR Ekdawy

He was very abrupt, didn't explain things very well, horrible bed side manner. Good surgeon, but horrible self absorbed man.
