Dr. Ashraf H Hanna, MD

I can not recommend Dr. Hanna. He rushed me through a yearly checkup because he told me he had to stay on time. This was his main concern not me and my questions. Every other Dr. I have visited has checked my prostate, checked for signs of skin cancer or oral cancer and he did none of these. His main concern was to stay on schedule. The last straw was his rude comment that since I was asking questions that I interrupted him. He gets a zero for bed side manner. He then tried to argue with me. Very unprofessional. He needs an attitude adjustment. I have fired him and will be seeing another doctor. On a positive side the staff was great and I recommend IU health and believe they should remove him from there staff.

He is condescending and belittled me the entire appointment. He prescribed me medication without telling me what it is or what it does. He gave me no information about a treatment plan. He asked confusing questions and got frustrated with me when I didn’t answer the the way he wanted me to.

The office staff are extremely kind and efficent. Dr. Hannah however, is much the opposite. Always seemed to busy to talk to me, completely brushed me off when I had questions. Whenever I actually got to see him (2x) he was in and out in less than 5 minutes without doing any form of exam.
