Fist of all id like to say the staff has been nothing but great to me I call often with symptoms and the nurse always consults with the DR then calls me back with an answer or ask to me to come in they've never been rude. The Dr seems to be afraid to be to close to you,there is no way he can hear anything wrong with your heart in the one second he listens hes never even felt my thyroid!I asked him if I had hypothyroidism he said that's just a name!OK I thought it was a DX...I have no clue what I have I just know im still very sick,i have to find new ENDO in Charleston now.

Dr. Mena barely listens to your heart beating for like a second and seems like he is afraid to be near you or touch you. He needs to be more through.

I REALLY HAVE NO PROBLEM W/ THE STAFF NOW , ITS SEEMS THAT BYOU HAVE TO IN THE BEGAINING : JUST HANG IN THERE & IF THEY R RUDE THEN SIMPLY SAY, EXPLAIN YOURSELF PLEASE LOL....JUST CATCH THEM OFF GUARD ALSO..LOLNO ACTUALLY MENA IS GREAT DOCTIR , ITS JUST HE HASNT REALLY EXPLAINED MY CONDITON TO ME IN WAYS I CAN UNDESTAND , BUT OTHER THAN THAT HE"S GREAT I HAVE NO CLUE TO MY DIAGNOSES AFTER GOING TO HIM NOW FOR 3 YRS, I WOULD APPRECIATE KNOWING DETAILS . ...AFTER ALL ITS MY BODY....ILLL RELATE THAT THE NEXT APPT.LOL..MYSELF I JUST LOVE THE RECEP.KIM...& THE OTHER LADY ,UUMM I=CANT REMEMBER HER NAME BUT THE OLD RUDE MEAN LOOKIN NURSE :SHE HAD GLASSES & LOOKED MAD ALL THE TIME , I DID NOT LIKE BEING IN HER PRESENTS AT ALL..... THATS FOR SURE:))

Dr. Mena is very knowledgable and does better than avarage. His office staff are rude uncaring women don't even try to change an appointment or be 5 mins late they will send you a letter to find another doctor... things happen in life. If you see Dr. Mena you will also need a family MD for colds and such the office staff doen't want you to come in sick...lol

The staff/nurses/front people are very difficult and rude. It's so bad you 'dread' having to call the office. You can't contact the doctor whatsoever unless you go into his office. He will not contact you himself. The doctor is very educated and very good! The overall experience...I felt like I was a burden to them and that the least little bit of a problem they will dismiss you as a patient!!!
