Ashwin Gowda , MD is a native of Chicago and has been in practice in Austin since 2002. He is a Psychiatrist who specializes exclusively in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. He completed his Psychiatric training at the Mayo Clinic and a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York . He has conducted research in narcolepsy/Cataplexy, evaluation of daytime sleepiness, and sleep apnea in children and has presented his research at national sleep conferences.

Monique is always very caring about my needs. I am a hard case but she doesn’t give up. Ladies at front fest are always cordial and helpful.

The staff is friendly and they are very efficient in trying to find the problem. The wait time is quick. I was in and out. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who has problems with their sleep.

I've been going to Texas Sleep Medicine for about 10 years, have had several over-night studies, daytime study, been on BiPap and meds to address my sleep issues. Dr. Gowda is terrific and so is his NP, Monique Mulvaney.
