Dr Sharan gave my life quality again. It wasn’t just his surgical skills but his true interest in me as an individual . He provided comfort and support when I needed it most. With his technical skills never did I think he would care about all of me. He has a gift of humanity that added to his technical skills makes him super human.

Took me a few weeks to compose myself to write this. I sought his hep help for chronic pain. I left in tears. He dismissed my complaints and insuinated that I was being dramatic. Saw another neurosurgeon who admitted me to the hospital the next day and performed a 6 hour surgery. But I guess it is hard to come up with a diagnosis during a 10 minute evaluation. I am doing much better now but no thanks to Dr Sharan. Please do your homework before picking a neurosurgeon. Philly has many qualified doctors it in my opinion, Dr Sharon is not one of them. I will not be returning and have been fortunate enough to find a surgeon who a actually seems to care, and willing to try to fix the mess Dr Sharon caused.

I was evaluated by his assistants and both presented my issues to him. He then came in the room and I went ove everything again to include the results of my X-rays, MRIs, CTSs , etc. He stated, “oh, there’s nothing wrong” and tried to push an implant off on me. He was very curt and not really focused. I have since received a diagnosis and had surgery but no thanks to Dr. Sharan and his assistants.

Performed laser ablation surgery on left temporal lobe. I’ve had seizures since childhood and I am now 69 yrs old and may driving in a few months ... what more can I say! Not only a great surgeon but he speaks to you very personally ... and same for his staff!

I cam in with a vry complex case which no other physician was able to piece together. Dr Sharan was able to put the pieces of the puzzle together and hand my life back to me.

He should have a giant 'S' tatooed to his chest! Dr. Sharan gave me my life back after suffering for over 2 years from intractable pain from a brachial plexus avulsions injury. I will never forget what he has done for me as well as the warmth & compassion I received from everyone in his office. It will never be enough, but my undying gratitude & high recommendation is his & his nurses.

Dr. Sharan has done two surgeries for me over the last six years. He is thorough, explains everything, listens to the patient, and respects their input. He puts me at ease and has a great team.
