This doctor isn't friendly, felt like a number instead of a person. The office staff are the worst ever -when calling multiple times over a few month period, they never would return my calls & never would fax my records to me or even to my other doctors. They barely ever answer their phone. They seem very disorganized & unprofessional, too. My own primary haven't even been able to get this office to respond to fax them my medical records so that I can get to a new gastrologist.

Never have i been so insulted by a doctor in my entire life. Please stay away and don't waste your time or money on him! Actually legitimately told me I was going to die soon and it was my fault. Offered no advice, no solution, just that I'd set myself up for failure and ushered me out of the office.

would not give me appointment-staff was very abrupt-the emergency room at Fla. Hospital gave me this Dr. name for follow up. They refused to give me an appointment for a 2nd opinion told me I needed a referral from my primary Dr.

I was admitted to the ER with a haemmorhaging ulcer and had lost about 3/4 of my blood volume. I had to wait 2 days to be treated by Mehta and was given multiple units of blood in the ECU. When he finally showed up, his rudeness was intolerable. He insulted my wife. I underwent an endoscopic procedure to cauterize my bleed. I was not sedated and he was constantly telling me to swallow and stop choking. The pain from the cautery was intolerable and thankfully I eventually passed out. Even after this ordeal, I required corrective procedures to fix multiple "mistakes" made by Mehta. Apparently Mehta is notorious in the Tampa medical community for his gross incompetence. At the time, Mehta was the only GI specialist on call with St. Joe's hospital,

I did not have any problems with Dr. Mehta. He was a bit stern, I guess during the intial visit, but was much better on the day of the procedure. He ans he staff were very kind to me while I was obviously nervous about having my first colonoscopy and be put under for it.

This Doctor is not smart uses fancy words but is not knolegeble. he did a colonoscopy and it was unclean, I got sick. He covered up and when I got the records and he was investigated he lost dumped me as a patient.People may think he is smart because he is Indian. But he is mean and self serving, he has no compassion for human beings. He only sees dollar signs.A different patient got Ulcerative Colitis because he gave them Acutane.
