My Doctor! He is true and honest. Always stay true to who you are Doctor Akhtar!

I wish he could be my regular doctor. He genuinely cares, and always ask me how I'm doing, but not just physically, but emotionally and mentally, which all can show signs of stress on the heart. I had gone to another cardiologist, who diagnosed me as having congestive heart failure. I took the labs to Dr Akhtar, who looked at all the reports, conducted new ones, and compared it to my previous reports from 4 years earlier, to determine that i was misdiagnosed. Since I have been seeing him, I have felt so wonderful, fully of life, and feeling healthy. He's just awesome.

After wasting a lot of time with my brother's old Cardiologist, we went to Dr. Akhtar. He was very informative and spent quality time with us to make sure we understood the problems. I recommend this doctor.

The GOOD doctor always put a smile my face laughter in my heart.. this man lives whatever your illment is and when you don't do what he's telling you and if you're honest with him,yes he's going to be upset and fess at you ,this is because each and everyone of his patients he treats like family. You need and want a great doctor this is the man.

Dr. Akhtar is probably the best doctor I've ever seen. I had gone into the hospital due to Afib. He wasn't my cardiologist at the time, but he was doing the rounds that day. He was so attentive and explained everything so I could understand what he was saying. At some point I asked him to be my cardiologist and he said yes. it's one of the best decisions of my life.

Wow! We want to say every positive thought there is. This man's intelligence, truthfulness, sweetness, attentiveness,compassion, promptness, and kindness are outstanding as a person and as a doctor. He really listens to the patient and any concerns they may have. We found him extremely informative and easy to understand..no big medical terms you have to run home and look up. As for the office personnel and staff..they get five stars too. His office is clean, neat, organized, and nice! He runs most of his tests in his office which is wonderful! We love his personality too. He is really a great person. In the last 7 years, we have been to 3 out-patient surgery centers, 5 different hospitals, had a total of 6 surgeries between us. This doctor represents want all doctors should be..Fantastic!!

Dr. Akhtar ia absolutely AMAZING! I have never had an experience with a doctor that was as thorough and caring as I have experience. I lucked out 2 years ago when I went into the hospital for chest pains and Dr. Akhtar was on call. I was fine, but he wanted to perform a stress test to be certain. The test went well and the day he reviewed the results with me he took the better part of an hour to discuss his analysis. My wife went with me and he assured her that my heart looked great and that I would not have to worry with my heart anytime soon. I HIGHLY recommend him to any of my friends or acquaintances looking for a world class cardiologist!

I met Dr. Akhtar when I was admitted into the hospital with chest pains. He did every test conceivable to see what was going on. My blood pressure was too high, my potassium levels were almost non existent and yet, my heart was just fine. I did a follow-up stress test a couple weeks later and he had to chemically induce the stress and he stood with me the whole time and talked me through the terrifying moments during the test. I have seen him a couple of times since then and I find him pleasant, funny, and caring.

Dr. Akhtar is a great and caring honest Doctor always spends the time I need with me. His Staff is courteous and knowlagable always a pleasure going to his office. His staff is the greastest.

Dr. Ahktar is a wonderful caring person.He spends all the time i need with me,never rushes me. He is a very good heart specialist.
