Dr. Asif Ali, MD

On my initial exam, Dr Ali paid far, FAR more attention to his med student than to me. He was dismissive and distant, and kept talking about wanting “numbers”. He needs to understand he’s treating PATIENTS, not numbers. Sure, numbers are important, but only inasmuch as they relate to a patient. I had concerns and questions, which he never heard about because his focus was on his med student. Clearly I’m not as useful to his ego as his fawning student. Moreover, his office is a disaster. My GP send him a full package of test results and history prior to the appt, but nobody could find them (somebody kinda remembered seeing them somewhere). I filled out extensive history on his portal in advance; none of it was on my chart. When I called after waiting a week for my test results, they told me I should have known to make another appointment (nobody ever told me that). This kind of sloppy record keeping, and lack of concern for patients as people, is how medical mistakes happen.

Dr. Ali has been fantastic! He took my unusual symptoms and made a quick diagnosis of a pretty rare disease which numerous other doctors were perplexed by. Couldn’t be more grateful for his help!

I'd like to give compliments to Dr. Asif Ali from Houston Cardiology Consultants. After being referred to him by my GP for high blood pressure, his office staff got me in the following day. After consulting with me and learning my lifestyle, Dr. Ali took started me on a preventative holistic approach without the needs for prescription medication. He has me on CitraNOX once per day (a amino acid our body needs), and along with healthy eating habits and daily exercise my blood pressure is completely normal and balanced. I'll continue to be seen by Dr. Ali for periodic follow ups. I recommend ANYONE who has ANY concern for heart and cardiovascular needs to consult with Dr. Asif Ali.

Was referred by the ER, He never talked to me never checked me out, he first entered the room by telling me to fill out this questionier and left. He popped in and out asking if I finished. He told me of this blood test that cost 300$ insurance didnt cover, I was thinking it had something to do with a new heart study as he made it sound. He told me to Come back in a week when test results come in and I'm done. I left feeling like I had be taken advantage and scammed in some way. Staff, Dr no one tells you anything. Hurry up and get you out of the office. A week later I go for test results and he's trying to SELL ME VITAMIN POWDERS !!!!!!! HES PROMOTING SPECTRA CELL LABORATORIES......... forget your health and heart. I got scammed 300$ and the test were incorrect. DO NOT GO TO HIM IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING SERIOUS GOING ON THAT POWDERS CANT FIX.

Dr Ali has been the first doctor to fix my chronic medical issues with a listening and caring attitude. His bed side manner is second to none. He explained everything to me and spent extra time to answer all my questions. Thank you Dr Ali!

At the same time, he makes you feel cared for and carefully attended to in every aspect. Dr. Ali and his staff truly are above and beyond fantastic.
