Why is he still practicing? My friend was just in the hospital and he was a Dr at Gulf Coast. She got less than proper care because no Gastro Dr would come because they probably don't want anything to do with him. If his case has not been disposed of yet, under the circumstances, the American Medical Association and Lee Health should have higher standards of care to even let him practice medicine at all. Just because he is ordered not to perform any procedures and colonoscopies does not mean that women are safe, as patients, around the accused. This is WRONG and puts the female patient population at risk. Based on the charges, he could easily try something on a female who is coming from surgery, heavily medicated, or not in full control of themselves due to illness, pain, or any other circumstances that could render them drowsy. I am mortified and shocked that he is practicing, at all. I was a former patient of this Dr and I left his practice for several reasons and this was prior… to being charged. He did not listen, and I felt he did not empathize or care about my situation.I did not feel believed or valued as a patient.

This is the worst doctor I have ever been to, and I have been to hundreds of them. He was rude, condescending, antagonistic, inattentive, and profoundly inept. If you value your health and expect to be treated with respect and dignity, this is NOT the Dr. you wgant to go to..

If you are fortunate enough to have Dr. Choudhury as your Gastroenterologist, consider yourself lucky. He is a fantastic Doctor. Very gentle. Incredibly well mannered. Speaks to you on your level and explains things in such a way that is clear and concise, with a good bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

Hoping this review will result in a vital change to how Dr. Choudhury manages his practice. I found him to be extremely intelligent and had such empathy when he was with me at an appointment. HOWEVER, I got the impression (by his waiting room (filled to excess) that his patient load was extreme! He did not follow lup on a timely basis after a procedure and path results and did not seem to have reviewed my file at all at the follow up appointment. Very disappointed and hope things turn around for him.

I have had diverticulitous many times over a 27 year period. Finally, after meeting Dr. Choudhury, I have a clear understanding on how to manage this disease and exactly what I need to eat or not eat.

Recently saw Dr. Choudhury on a referral to have diagnostic tests done. His office was incredibly responsive on scheduling the appointment and the surgical procedure as a priority. After the procedure, Dr. Choudhury was very thorough in providing diagnostic feedback as well as a referral to for another set of tests that needed to be performed. Stronly recommend him as a gastroenterologist.
