Dr. Asim Chohan, MD

Dr. Chohan was very point blank with my mom, which is exactly what she needed to hear in order for her to start properly taking care of herself. I am so thankful to Dr. Chohan and his staff for being patient with my mama and with being so honest with us so we can give her the best care for the best possible outcome...a thriving and vibrant life!

Such a smart doctor - and so caring!

Gave me wrong medicine. Put stint in and I had heart attack in recovery, nurses called him to tell him and he left for vacation refusing to see me. Once you see him, no other doctor at any of the Heart Hospitals will see you if you want someone else to be your doctor.

When you call up to office, receptionist is horribly rude. She is very rude and unhelpful. She has condescending remarks when responding to questions! She is not helpful at all. The manager was just as unresponsive and rude. Dr probably needs to get more courteous front staff if office Is going to continue to be successful. Sorry I couldn't give a better review, but I feel very unhopeful with my health due to improper communication at that office!!!

I had the good fortune of having Dr Chohan on call the day I went into er at the Ok Heart Hospital. It was a pretty scary day for me as I had suddenly developed a very erratic heart rate. After the staff completed the tests, Dr Chohan came in and told me the bad news- I had two malfunctioning heart valves that would need to be replaced. His upbeat and positive attitude put me at ease however. His comment was "this is going to be a very serious and invasive procedure, but you will be ok! You will be able to go back to living a normal life again afterwards." He is now my regular cardiologist and I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. ChoHan has cared for me for over a year and got me through atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, pace maker, heart attack and stints. He is a wonderful doctor and definately knows his business. He takes the time to explain everything he is doing and answer any questions in a way that you totally understand. he is an amazing doctor and i would highly recommend him to a family member, a friend or a stranger on the street in need of a cardiologist.

He is EXCELLENT- intelligent, diligent, and caring

Excellent office to work with. He is a great physician. Works hard for you. Have been his patient for ten years and I look forward to seeing him every time. The office staff is busy as are all staffs of good practitioners. they are always cheerful and willing to help in the process.

Went to hospital at Midwest City. Dr. Chohan said he had to do a procedure with a needle in the groin. I asked for them to do it in my arm, my sister had this done in her arm, he refused. So I agreed. I was never told what the procedure was that he was doing. They slapped me up on a table like a piece of meat and just exposed my whole body to all the people watching from window. Some of those people were not doctors. It was humiliating. I requested to be covered up a little. They were rude. No respect for me as a person, then stuck this long needle into my groin with no deadening medicine, nothing. I was unable to handle the pain and requested something for deadening. After asking several times he acted disgusted at my request but finally gave me something to deaden the pain. Before that he just kept saying something to the effect of it's not that bad be still. Then the nurse stepped over to me and quote said "If you don't shut up you'll die on the table." Because of my heart… disease and RA I have been in and out of hospitals for 35 years. They don't bother me. I have never been treated so badly in my life. I had a double bypass at Oklahoma heart hospital, and it was wonderful there. The Dr.s and nurses and surgeon were great. They cared about me as a person and were very attentive to everything I needed. All I can say is if you see Dr. Chohan, then see him at your own risk.

Excellent physician. Takes all the time you need. Not bad on your eyes either??
