Dr. Asim Jahangir Khattak, MD

Staff was very friendly. The nurse that did the intake was very friendly.When the doctor came in, he looked at my medicine list and said I'm a troublesome patient. He would not prescribe any of the medication on my list to me. I need to go back to my old primary care provider. He refused to see me. It was a 1 minute appointment and i was charged my copay. Had to demand my copay back. This man is no doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Khattak for over one year now and for me he is the best PCP I have ever had. He will spend as much time as you need talking to you and going over any issues you have. I have never had to wait long for my appointment and always treated by everyone with kindness and respect. If I ever have to move it will be very hard to find such a wonderful doctor like Dr. Khattak.

Very compassionate physician

I have been seeing Dr Khattak for years but I will never go back again. I have been suffering with anxiety attacks since the hurricane and have had a hard time getting to his office. I first missed an appointment but spoke to them that I had not had my bloodwork done and didn't know where to have it done because where I normally had it done was destroyed, they let me know where to go and and I did everything takes me days...weeks ...and yes sometimes months to be able to mentally prepare leaving my house to do these things. I finally made it tothe office on Wednesday but was to late for walk-in...I know this was my fault but I had to stop on my way to breath...this may sound rediculouse to you but it is very real to me. when I got there the Dr and Debbie where still there and I begged themto just please write my prescription for my heart medicine and thyroid medicine. Debbie just laughed at me saying "its notmy fault youmissed your appointment in Feb...just go eat some lunch and… come back I had no money to eat lunch I was not mentally able to drive home and back. I know this isn't there problem...me needing meds that I amnot able to do without. but laughing at meand showing no compassion for how hard this wasfor me is not what I need in a DR. I worked so hard to prepare myself to make it over there and the way I was treated was so awful I do hope that Debbie (head nurse) see this and knows how far back this set me. If you couldn't see me you could have shown some compassion and not laughed at me about the state I was in.

First visit today. Was very pleased with his knowledge. Glad I was referred to him. Looking forward to being his patient. Thank to all the friendly office staff??

Dr.Khattak is a physician that writes prescriptions for narcotic pain medications, called pain management. He shares an office with Gateway, a different affiliate. Many of his patients are referred by Gateway physicians in the same office. His patients have to come back every month for pain medication refills. Patients are being treated like criminals, who are not trusted to have narcotic pain medication refills. Dr. Khattack makes recommendations that are not supported by medical tests. A patient in the waiting room said he gave him injections in the knees, and there wasn't anything wrong with his knees. Now his knees hurt. Another patient in the waiting room said he suggested surgery, but he is not a surgeon. He leaves his patients in the waiting room everyday; he leaves the ofice at a certain time everyday, and goes to a prayer meeting. They have to wait for him to return to the office to finish his appointments. Nice talk, and a joking sense of humor, and wanting to get to know… you, does not make a physician a good doctor. I will not be back..

I love all the staff. I always feel as though I'm the only patient of the day. I never have to wait long. Dr. Khattak makes sure I understand what is going on at my visit. There is no overbooking. I've finally found a doctor I enjoy going to. Good work guys.

The staff is good and professional. Checked my insurance quickly and they have lab which made testing easy. Caring doctor and gave me enough time to discuss my problems.

He is absolutely awesome, very knowlegable and his nurse Debbie is wonderful! I've been going to him for about 8 years and will continue seeing him!

Wonderful caring doctor.I will keep him as my doctor for this very reason!
