If you are already seeing a therapist then mostly you'd see Dr Sogutlu for prescriptions...easy right? My daughter sees her (that will be changing shortly!) every 3 months and based on my observations Dr Sogutlu is either super lazy or super incompetent or most likely she simply does not care enough about her patients to be inconvenienced by them. In particular, when we moved, we asked her to shift the prescription to a closer pharmacy... she looked on the computer, blinked at us and said that is not possible. That was all. She always asks for the pharmacy so I've consistently given her the new one I want, and lo and behold! it one day began going to the new place....that is until one day it didn't! She apparently randomly sent it to the old location. Alright so after 90+ minutes phone tag with the two branches of the pharmacy they figured out where the prescription was and I can go pick it up- at the out of the way location, but alright. Also, she is pretty indifferent about… reminders and appointment making. Maybe I'm spoiled, but every other doctor our family sees sends email reminders if you are due for a treatment soon, sets up the appointment on the computer or makes sure you connect with their front desk to do so. This practice has no such ease-of-use processes in place and coupled with Dr Sogutlu's indifference you are stuck in a place without the new-tech reminders and without the old-school caring. Worst of both worlds- yay! So...she is ok...but for a Dr, OK is a dismal failure. In short, if you want to have those little social checks to keep you or your family member on track with meds and appointments...don't see Dr Sogutlu. She doesn't care. Seriously. She. Does. Not. Care.
