Asma Ahmed, MSN, ANP, PMHNP

Asma has 25 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, having worked with special populations, including incarcerated individuals and military veterans. She has a background in primary care, urology, men's health, and weight management.

Asma prioritizes establishing therapeutic relationships with her patients. She provides comprehensive psychiatric care, artful medication management, and supportive psychotherapy.

Asma is dual-certified as an adult and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.  She has served as clinical adjunct faculty and assistant medical director.  She has mentored new psychiatric NP's and continues to precept PMHNP students. Ms. Ahmed earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology at UMass Boston and her Master of Science in Nursing at the MGH Institute
