Dr. Asmaa Chaudhry, MD

My experience at this office was deeply disappointing. I am giving one star solely for Dr. Asmaa Chaudhry herself, who was knowledgeable and treated me respectfully. Unfortunately, the conduct of her staff overshadowed any positive interaction I had with the doctor. Before my appointment, I received an excessive number of reminder texts and calls, far beyond what is reasonable. When I arrived, the front desk was curt and unwelcoming. The employee did not acknowledge my greeting, simply handed me an iPad and a form, and walked away without the slightest attempt at courtesy or civil explanation. When I declined to place a credit card on file, the iPad locked me out, and the staff member became visibly irritated when I asked for assistance. I offered to pay upfront, yet I was still treated as though I had committed an offense. Several staff members even peeked around corners and stared at me, creating an unnecessarily hostile atmosphere. Unfortunately, the unprofessional behavior did… not stop there. The medical assistant was equally brusque and dismissive, and the clerk who processed my payment did not offer even the most basic courtesy such as “please” or “thank you.” Throughout the visit, I maintained a polite demeanor, but the staff consistently failed to do the same. While Dr. Chaudhry herself was kind, the overall environment was marked by disrespect, poor communication, and an alarming lack of professionalism. I will not be returning, and I have canceled my family member’s upcoming appointment. No level of medical competence justifies treating patients in such a discourteous and adversarial manner.

I've been bugged by a recurrent rash on my hands for 15 years and have seen two doctors about it but haven't gotten a clear diagnosis or strategy to control it. Then I met Dr. Chaudhry. She exuded confidence, coming up with a diagnosis in just a few minutes. She went over the specifics of the causes and treatment. Then she sent a prescription to my pharmacy, warning me that the medication is expensive, and that if my insurance gave me problems to give her a call. Sure enough, my insurance denied coverage, but before I could even call Dr. Chaudry's office, they reached out to me with a solution, sending the prescription to a specialty pharmacy that can provide it to me for a modest out-of-pocket sum. I really appreciated the initiative her office showed in following up and facilitating things for me. It was a great experience working with Dr. Chaudhry and her staff at the clinic. Everyone was efficient, nice and professional. I highly recommend Stone Ridge Dermatology.

Dr. Chaudhry was very knowledgeable and professional during my visit. She was able to work with me and provided valuable care and instruction as she helped diagnose my medical issue. The staff was easy to work with as well. I highly recommend Dr. Chaudhry and Stone Ridge Dermatology.

I had a pre-cancerous mole diagnosed and removed by Dr. Chaudhry last fall and have had several followup visits. She is very friendly, through, and very efficient. I am always in the exam room within 5 minutes of my appointment, one of her assistants will ask me done questions within 5 minutes, and then I put those given on and the doctor come in within 5 minutes. It's a very well-organized office, and I've been very happy with the medical care and advice.

Dr. Asmaa Chaudhry is, quite literally, one of the most incredible physicians and humans I have ever interacted with. Over the past eight-ish years, I have followed Dr. Chaudhry to three different locations, including now, to her own practice which is nearly two hours from my home; I would drive to California to see Dr. Chaudhry, she’s that special. When you’re in Dr. Chaudhry’s office, her attention is wholly on you, the patient before her. Never will Dr. Chaudhry make you feel rushed or like you’re part of an assembly line; instead she’ll carefully listen to your concerns, provide brilliant yet easily understandable education— and ask you about your family while recalling details about what you told her when she asked five years ago. See, that’s the difference between Dr. Chaudhry and others— she legitimately cares. If you go to see Dr. Chaudhry, she isn’t just your doctor, she is your friend. Dr. Chaudhry cares about what happens to her patients, she is totally invested in you… as a human. Always prioritizing kindness, integrity, patience and empathy, Dr. Chaudhry is one of the most genuine, authentic humans I have ever encountered. The values Dr. Chaudhry very clearly holds so dearly in her own conduct are also those that set the tone for her practice— without waver. Stone Ridge Dermatology is unlike any medical practice I have ever known, because of Dr. Chaudhry’s leading by example. Dr. Chaudhry does the right thing, always, especially when the right thing is the hard thing— including fiercely advocating for her patients. If you’re looking for someone who isn’t just a renowned physician, but more importantly an extraordinary human, Dr. Chaudhry is 100% the right choice for you; I am so grateful for her. Washingtonian may have named her a top doctor, but in my opinion, Dr. Asmaa Chaudhry is THE top doctor. The world needs more people like Dr. Chaudhry.

Dr. Chaudhry and her staff are the absolute best. Knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and professional. Dr. Chaudhry was recommended by my sister in law and I’m so thankful for that. Dr. Chaudhry mitigated my teens’ acne and continues to treat my family when any dermatological issue arises. I personally appreciate Dr. Chaudhry’s direct manner. Highly highly highly recommend.

I came to Dr. Chaudhry for treatment of severe cystic acne which I was suffering for years and had tried different treatments from many doctors. Dr. Chaudhry treated my acne and I am very happy with the results. She is a great doctor and I would definitely recommend her to my friends.

My family and I would give Dr. Asmaa Chaudhry 10 stars if we could. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and is always service minded in or outside the office. Our 7-year old daughter experienced a gash on her chin over the weekend requiring stitches. Despite having her own plans with her family, Dr. Chaudry opened up her office for us (on Easter Sunday!) and stitched up our baby girl with a flawless cosmetic result! She is a gem of a person and anyone would be lucky to have her as their dermatologist.
