Dr. Asra A Ali, MD

My experience today was horrible. She always seems nonchalant about caring for me but today solidified that I will not go back. I have been seeing her for treatment of planters wart on my foot. Today she froze my foot but before the treatment she was using a blade to shave some of the dead skin on the wart and she cut me twice. Once on the inner side of my pinky toe and once on foot above wart. The pink cut is about 1 inch and hurts. Like I need anymore pain in that area. It is also causing me anxiety that the cut will now have the wart virus spread to it and get infected. I never liked her and felt like she was just pumping patients through there. She also botched my cyst removal recently and I should have followed my gut and changed doctors sooner. I will never go back.

This doctor charges $50 for a $5 injection. She is not accessible after the clinic visit- no matter what. Her office does not explain charges before administering treatment. The doctor herself is not concerned about patients and doesn’t bother to spend more than a few minutes on an exam- which she happily takes $230 for. I would not recommend this dermatologist.

I went in as a new patient for a skin check and to look at my toenail. Skin check was fine, she didn't describe the types of spots or if they were benign or not. The only thing in the counseling note that was mostly accurate was the toenail diagnosis. Everything things else she did not talk to me about at all. I left with a prescription for facial acne(which was not the main reason) and no answers for my nail. I felt rushed and she swooped in and out and was not very personable. I put my history in the new patient papers and still was asked the same questions by her assistant. Not efficient at all. I may be a nurse, but treat me like a patient and be thorough! Not a happy patient today.

She's in it for the money. She takes on way too many patients this isn't able to provide the adequate amount of attention a patients

I went to see Dr. Ali about an unusual nodule and skin breakout. Dr. Ali spent less than 3 minutes with me. She never told me what she was prescribing to me, only turning to her assistant and telling her and then walking out of the office like a bolt of lightening. Dr. Ali was very unprofessional and insensitive to patient. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!

I went to Dr Ali to have some skin nodules on my middle-aged torso looked at and removed. She asked me to take off my shirt, and then said 'where are they?'. I told her I wanted a good 'inspection' as I am not young, and that I didn't keep a list of all the little nodules. She froze 2 or 3 of them off, and did NOT even do a thorough look to see where else I might have growths on my torso. When I got home and had time to myself, I quickly felt 3 or 4 MORE obvious nodules / growths that she was apparently too busy to bother with. On top of that, her bill was 30% higher than my old skin doctor. I am sorry I went to this doctor. It's so hard to find time to take off work and get an appointment, and I took half a day off a busy managerial job, all for a half-hearted treatment. The atmosphere among her staff mirrors exactly Dr Ali's cold, hurried bedside manner. I felt like I was a hamburger in a fast food joint.
