The mortality rate for pancreatic cancer is terrifying. Dr. Hassoun was full of confidence for a positive outcome prior to my Whipple surgery and that I would recover, which gave me the courage to face my disease. The Whipple is one of the top four most difficult operations and Dr. Hassoun performed it perfectly. I was told by others that a Whipple would be disfiguring, but two and a half years post-surgery I have a thin, almost invisible nine-inch vertical scar down my midsection and I am cancer free. How can I even begin to thank him enough?

Dr Assad performed surgery on my dad 5 yrs ago and once again 3 weeks ago.we were so blessed to have him once again.he is the sweetest DR ever and cares about his patients.my dad and our family are so grateful to him and cant thank him enough.god bless u in all u do and for being so caring.

Had to have a major surgery was referred to Dr. Hassoun. He was professional and obviously highly skilled. Very caring. Surgery went perfect and recovery sooner than expected. Would recommend him to anyone. Hard to get into initially as he is so sought after but worth the wait.

Dr. Hassoun was my mother's surgeon after a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. He explained the condition, surgery and likely outcome in terms my mother could understand. His surgical skills cause him to be extremely busy, but you would never know it when he is speaking with you. He never rushes you. Highly recommend!! Mom is 2 years post surgery and cancer free.

Best doctor ever! My dad had liver transplant surgery and he did the surgery on his such a good doctor and care so much about his patients thank you so much for all your care and the help and the great job!!

Told me that 4 months after the surgery I would be back on my feet. 6 months post surgery and still problems, extremem pain and nausea but he has told me to "learn to live with it" I can barely cook dinner before running out of energy.
