Dr. Astrid Gutsmann, DO

Met with her PA in 2017 and 2018 - very concerned and caring PA and office staff. I recommend their office.

In spite of the fact that she is overwhelmed with patients and you have to wait; the wait is worth it Poor front desk response due to shortage of staffing. I hate that. On hold alot for over 5 minutes.

My wife been with this office for two years and never met the Dr Gutsmann, always sees the nurse pediatrician. They gave her a work order for some x-rays and other images, but has an issue. I had to call them so they can fax the complete work order directly to the imagining facility. I had to follow up with them for 4 to 5 days, finally they sent it with missing item. I called again (every time you call, you have to wait). I asked about the missing item, but they did not have record of it, but they put it on the order they gave me, was try to explain that situation on the phone, they she told me just take the order you have and go to facility, I explain that this order is not acceptable, and I asked her how come you don't have this in the record, she started to say this never discussed with the nurse, I told her it was and instead of saying that, just ask in your office and why you are always not organized. She hanged up on me. If you want to go to this office, good luck.

I call in the morning to schedule an appointment for "High" blood pressure. I'm told the only time they could see me is in the late evening. I show up at my late evening appointment, with very high blood pressure, they ask for new insurance, then inform me they can't contact them in order to verify it, that I'll have to reschedule. I then ask again -- "Are you really telling me I have to reschedule when my blood pressure is going through the roof?" The answer was "Yes, that's policy." I told them I would pay out of pocket - a few minutes later I'm being hauled off to the ER for a possible stroke. To summarize they were turning me away with a possible stroke.

Very disappointed. Staff are very unorganized, they always put you on long hold and always in hurry, because of that they get the wrong message. Hard to make an appointment with a doctor.

I arrived well before my appointment time and waited in a very crowded waiting room. 45 minutes later I was taken back for vitals and a short talk with a PA. I waited for a blood draw until I couldn’t wait any longer and finally left. No services were rendered and I was still charged $25.00. I guess it was rent for the chair...

I have received service from Dr. Gutsmann for several months now. Their staff is very knowledgeable and were able to diagnose and treat my panic disorder and anxiety. I highly recommend!

I had my first appt here for an annual physical and was very impressed with how smoothly everything ran. I saw the PA there, not the doctor, which worked well for a physical. And the blood tech onsite was fabulous. I am a "tough stick" and he was able to draw blood needed on the first try with no poking or pain. Awesome!

Dr Gutsmann is very knowledgeable, professional & personable. She takes time to do a thorough examine, AND, explains things in easy to understand terms. Also, her office staff members are friendly & efficient. Dr Gutsmann is a Rare Gem Of a Doctor, these days. I have full confidence & respect for her as, MY Doctor. She gets 5 Stars.
