Dr. Atena Mia Rosak, MD

Dr. Rosak defied every expectation I had of a general surgeon. My prior experience was with somewhat robotic, cold, and unfriendly surgeons. Dr. Rosak, on the other hand, was warm, humorous, and friendly. She was thorough in explaining things to me, diligent in responding to my questions, and skilled in her craft. My office visits were quick and efficient without being perfunctory, and my actual procedure was smooth. I had a similar procedure ten years ago, and that surgeon must have totally botched his work, because my recovery and pain were so much less with Dr. Rosak's work. I would have been happy if Dr. Rosak had just done excellent surgical work, but it was truly gratifying to find her to be a pleasant person to go and visit for pre-op and post-op appointments. She's smart as a whip, knowledgeable, funny, and very kind. She is a professional -- thoroughly confident and skilled -- but she also has a heart. I could not be happier with Dr. Rosak and her work. Bravo, Dr. Rosak.… Bravo.

I called and she agreed to see me immediately when I told them of my concerns about the apparently infected cyst in my breast. She saw me even though she doesn't see patients on the day I called. She was so pleasant, comforting and wonderful. I couldn't speak highly enough of her. I would recommend her over and over again.
