I first met Dr smearless ( an interventional cardiologist) on mother's Day weekend as a walk-in ER patient at Mount Sinai South Nassau New York. He was very pleasant and calming as he explained my situation to me and his concerns about what I was experiencing and why his need to examine me further. Meeting him for the first time I appreciated his desire to investigate first as it increased my confidence in him a very important factor in a doctor's patient relationship. His investigation revealed several 85% to 95% arterial blockages and the need for implementation of several left and right coronary life-saving stents. The procedures were painless, quick, and fascinating to watch. I was discharged with a total of eight stents several days later without complications and feeling like I had been saved by Dr Smyrlis and staff ! In addition to Dr smearless medical skills is his willingness to discuss at length my medical issues as an inpatient and at follow-up visits I attended with… friends. All of us were very impressed by this and how exceptional it was compared to other doctors we've seen . I highly recommend Dr smearless as an accomplished and caring position
