Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I was a HS student when my favorite aunt was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It had already metastasized & she suffered from constant pain. My aunt wanted me to be with her all the time. She insisted that I administer all her medication and accompany her when she was admitted to the hospital. During her frequent hospital visits, I came across several physicians whose dedication to their profession was an inspiration. I realized that this is the career I want to pursue. I could not think of a more noble profession than catering to the needs of those who are suffering physically and mentally.What I want my patients to know about me:I immigrated to the US in 2007 with a dream of educating my children here as well as fulfilling my lifelong dream of advancing my career in medicine.
